Directions
To make your own paper Gummy the toothless werewolf, you need only follow these directions and remember to have lots of fun!
Step 1:
Find a steady and flat surface on which to work. Lay down newspaper to keep area clean (optional). Assemble your materials.
Step 2:
Fold the paper hamburger style and pinch one end. This will be the top of the cone. Roll the paper into a cone from this point with the wider side opposite the pinched point.
Step 3:
Glue the end of the rolled paper and stick it to the rest of the cone to make it stay at a permanent cone shape (see picture below).
Step 4:
Cut the bottom to the cone to make it lay flat. This should result in four various sized triangles as seen in the picture below. Save these pieces.
Step 5:
Glue the two largest triangles scraps together to form the tail, leaving a small end segment on both dry of glue to make gluing it to the cone easier with a forked end. Glue this to the base (wide end) of the cone.
Step 6:
Cut the smallest of the triangle scraps to make two arms and glue these to the middle of the cone on the side opposite the tail. Bend the final triangular scrap twice (about a third of the way in from either side), to form the ears. See image below. Glue this towards the top of the cone on the same side as the tail.
Step 7:
Glue a googly eye to either side of the cone at the same height as the ears.
Step 8:
Further decorate the Paper Werewolf anyway you’d like. You can add fur marks as we have done, a black nose, or even cut a triangular mouth hole out and add blue slobber with a marker or construction paper.
