Hello friends, Sending this from just outside the Grand Canyon! We listened to the new Loch Ness album, Great Scot! all the way from Rachel, NV. Loch Ness is a talented pop singer, but six hours of anything on repeat will really make you think the opposite. I must say, I was thankful for the quiet when we finally arrived. I was, that is, until I noticed it was too quiet. The place was dead. Not another tourist in sight. It wasn't until the rhumba of rattle snakes came and carried Sunny off into a far off cave that I realized the tourists had all been scared off. It took the rest of us all day to hike up to the cave where we found Sunny. Turns out the snakes didn't want to snack on him, but rather worship him. They really seemed to admire his fangs and would rattle is chorus when ever he'd smile at them. Melody played Loch Ness for them and they slithered and danced to it. We partied with the snakes until they got tired and then snuck back to the RV, leaving the Loch Ness CD. We're all heart broken over that... Overall, the Grand Canyon wasn't what I expected, but I had a good time. Anyway, we're going to put some distance between us and rattlesnakes before they wake up. I think we'll stop at the next Denny's. Gummy's stomach is rattling with hunger. Until next time, take care! Your friend, Felipe Femur
