Brief Bio

Melody is a banshee who just happens to be mute. She doesn’t let the fact that she can’t verbalize or sing hold her back, though. She’s a skilled musician, a master on the Theremin–a very unusual instrument that doesn’t require her to touch it to play–and can often be found playing eerie music on the ocean shoreline near her Cliffside home. If she isn’t playing music herself, she’s usually listening to it. There’s a musical quality to almost everything and Melody can’t help but find it. From a cat’s purr to the rustle of leaves to actual musical performances, she loves it all. When the Skeletones perform she is front row and their number one fan. She also idolizes Loch Ness, a hugely famous pop star.

This banshee can more often than not be found hanging out with Choral the musical crab.  Though Choral is not a fiddler crab, she does enjoy listening to and making music too. Melody enjoys the sound of applause Choral’s claws make after every one of her performances. Choral also serves as a hair clip for Melody’s disheveled hair, and the red of her exoskeleton goes well with whatever color hair the banshee currently possesses.
